Our Curriculum

CBC — Competency-Based Education for the Whole Child

Kenya CBC

Competency-Based
Education, Grades 1–5

Kenya's Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC) shifts education from rote memorisation to active mastery of core competencies, critical thinking, and character formation — from Grade 1 through Grade 5.

At Hope Resilience Academy, the CBC is implemented with a distinctly Christian character: every lesson is an opportunity to develop not only the intellect but the whole person — spiritually, academically, physically, and socially.
